Carrot zucchini buns !!
Carrot zucchini buns are spicy no knead buns , perfect to try for a beginner like me. These buns are so easy to make and soft in texture .You just need to mix the ingredients and wait... wait for it to rise ...n bake!!! You can add any veggies to make it healthy.
Perfect with a cup of soup ...
Ingredients
All purpose flour 2 &1/4 cup
Instant yeast 2 &1/4 tsp
curd 1/4 cup
olive oil 2 tbsp
sugar 1 &1/2 tbsp
salt 1 tsp
warm water 1 cup
chopped onion 1/2 cup
green chillies 3
coriander 2 tbsp
chilli flakes 1 tsp
Grated carrot and zucchini 1/2 cup
chopped curry leaves 1 tsp(optional)
Grease the muffin cups with oil .....
Method
- Mix all purpose flour , salt, sugar and yeast together.
- Add curd , olive oil and warm water and mix well.
- Add chopped onion, green chillies,chilli flakes, grated carrot and zucchini, chopped curry leaves to it and leave aside to rise .
- When it is doubled up, stir well and fill muffin cups halfway.
- Leave it to rise upto the rim.
- Preheat the oven to 190° C.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
