Moong daal besan burfi !!!
Moong dal is loaded with nutritional health benefits , HIGH PROTEIN LOW CALORIE food with vitamins and minerals.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

 Indian sweets are known for their taste and richness. All sweets are prepared by following various methods and using different ingredients.  
I have used besan along with moong dal flour and added ginger powder to it. Shelf life of this burfi increases as no mawa is added . But this is so yum , melt in mouth that you cant stop eating it....
Ingredients:
Moong dal flour      2  cups
Besan                          3/4 cup
Desi ghee                    1 cup
Powdered sugar       1 cup
Dry ginger powder   2 tsp
Cardamom powder  1 tsp
Dessicated coconut    2 tbsp
Dry fruits                   optional
Method:
- Heat ghee in a non stick pan . Add moong dal flour + besan and roast on low heat , stirring continuously . It will take minimum 10-15 minutes.
 - Add ginger powder and cardamom powder.
 - Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
 - Add powdered sugar and mix well.
 - pour it into a greased tray and spread evenly .
 - Sprinkle dessicated coconut and allow it to set.
 - Cut it into squares .
 
You can replace moong dal flour with besan  to make besan burfi...
