Eggless banana walnut cake




Ingredients

Whole wheat flour                         1 & 1/2 cup
Cane sugar                                      3/4 cup
Baking powder                               1 tsp
Baking soda                                     1 tsp
Oil                                                       1/2 cup
Banana                                             2
Milk                                                   1/3 cup
Vanilla essence                               1 tsp
Chopped walnuts                           3 tbsp

Method

  • Prepare a 7" round tin .
  • Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  • Sift flour , baking powder and baking soda together and keep aside.
  • Mash bananas , add sugar and oil to it.
  • Add essence and mix well.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix gently.
  • Fold in walnuts and pour the batter in prepared tin.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
