Lemon brownies

Ingredients
All purpose flour      1 cup
Baking powder         1/4 tsp
Castor sugar             1 cup
butter                          150 gm
Eggs                            3
Lemon zest                 2 tsp
Lemon juice               2 tbsp ( juice of 2 lemons)
Vanilla essence         1 tsp
Lemon glaze
Castor sugar                 1/2 cup
Lemon juice                   2 tbsp
Zest of one lemon
Add all ingredients to  bowl and mix well until smooth . 
Method
- Preheat oven to 170° C.
 - Prepare a 8x8 inch pan by greasing and lining with parchment paper.
 - Sift flour and baking powder together.
 - Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
 - Add flour mix , eggs, essence, lemon zest and lemon juice .
 - Beat well to get smooth mixture.
 - Pour in prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.Start checking after 20 minutes of baking.
 - Once baked , allow it to cool and pour lemon glaze over cooled brownies .
 - Allow it to settle for half an hour.
 - Slice and serve.
