Paneer tikka hot dog

These easy hot dog buns are soft and delicious. This dough is so versatile that you can try anything with this ...These are better than store bought  as they are soft, fresh and free from chemicals. You know exactly what went into the dough !!!

Make 8 large buns or 12 small ones. Stuff  these with your favorite filling and bake.... Addition of milk powder makes them more tender ,soft and with a taste of milk bread.

Ingredients

All purpose flour   4 cup

Milk powder         4 tbsp

Instant yeast         1 &1/2 tsp

Sugar                    2 tbsp

Salt                       1 tsp

Olive oil                4 tbsp

Lukewarm  milk    1 &1/2 cup + 2 tbsp

Method

• Mix flour , milk powder, and salt.
• Dissolve sugar in lukewarm milk.
• Add one cup of flour mix and yeast to lukewarm milk and stir. 
• Gradually keep on adding flour mix.
• Once all the flour is mixed in milk , start kneading the dough.
• It'll be sticky affair first  but add oil ,1 tbsp at a time, and continue kneading for 9-10 minutes.
• After 10 minutes the dough will be smooth, keep it covered in a greased bowl for first proof.... approx 1 hour or until it doubles up.
• Once doubled, punch the dough gently to remove air pockets.
• Divide the dough into 12 equal parts.
• Shape each portion into a ball and roll it into rectangle.
• Put paneer tikka masala and roll it into a log like we do it for bread.

• Place these in a greased tin.
• Keep it covered for 20-30 minutes for second proofing.
• Preheat the oven to 180° C.
• Brush the hot dogs with milk and cover the tin with lid.
• Bake for 25-30 minutes.
• Once done, brush butter on hot dogs and cover it with paper napkin or kitchen towel.
